Clan Feud

The year is 1568, and Scotland's clans are at war, loyal only to themselves and the crown. But Mary Queen of Scots has been imprisoned by Elizabeth I in England and her infant son James declared King. Whoever controls the boy will be the true power in the realm – if they can hold him. Lead your clan to glory or infamy as you settle your clan feuds!

In Clan Feud, each player takes control of a different clan in 16th century Scotland - the height of historical clan power - starting in 1568 when a one-year-old baby has just been crowned King James VI. The game lasts a set number of turns until King James comes of age in 1583 and the game ends.

Each turn is split into three phases: gather and roll your action dice, take turns assigning one dice at a time to your player board to take actions, and then events and upkeep.

The game is explained in more detail on the Clan Feud: Base Game page. I have also designed seven expansions to the base game, to add alternative win conditions, more action dice, different strategies, and to capture more of what makes feuding 16th century Scottish clans so fun!
